Shipping options

We currently offer 6 shipping options within the United States. You may choose Free Ground Shipping if your order qualifies and you are in the 48 contiguous states. If not, or you prefer to expedite, you can choose UPS Ground or one of the Expedited Shipping methods. Most orders in the US are received in just 5 to 7 business days (do not count weekends or the day it ships as a shipping day) . Expedited will deliver your order within 1 -3 business depending on what you choose. We are sorry, but we do not offer Saturday or Sunday delivery. Canadian orders are shipped USPS, US Mail Priority. Although on checkout it will say UPS we send them US Mail as this has proven a better method according to our Canadian customers.

Shipping outside the United States

DiscountHorse.com will ship to Canada using US Mail Priority. We do not ship to any other locations

Shipping to a P.O. box

We ship via UPS to a physical address in the lower 48 states. If we are shipping to you in Canada, Puerto Rico or Hawaii we us the US Postal Service, therefore, a PO Box in this circumstance is fine or a physical address that receives mail. For UPS requirements, please visit their web site at www.ups.com.

Track packages

Find the UPS tracking number in the e-mail we sent you confirming that your order has been shipped. Use that number at www.ups.com to check the status of your order online. It may take 24 hours before tracking information appears on the UPS's web site.

If your order appears late, remember:
  • Credit card approval must be received prior to processing.
  • Overnight orders placed after 12 noon EST are processed the following day.
  • Expedited delivery only occurs on business days (Mondays through Fridays, excluding holidays).

Order Status

You can look at past and pending orders. You must be a Registered Customer to use Order Status. Click here to check your Order Status. This service is only available to customers who created an account prior to finalizing their order.

Also, you will receive two e-mails after you have placed your order and provided us with a valid e-mail address:
  • The first confirms that your order has been received (your order confirmation number will be included); this e-mail should arrive within approximately 24 hours.
  • The second confirms that your order has been shipped (any tracking information will be included); this e-mail should arrive within approximately 24 - 48 hours following authorization of your credit card and verification of your information. An exception would be if you place your order late on Friday or over the weekend. The following business day to process would be Monday.

Shipping Charges

Your shipping charges will appear in the box marked "shipping" at checkout for your convenience.

All shipments are via United Parcel Service. Your rate is calculated based on weight and the delivery location. All expedited shipping rates are calculated based on your order weight and delivery location. Please refer to the Shipping Estimate feature in your cart screen, after adding your items, to estimate the amount of your shipping cost. When your order is ready to ship, it generally takes 5-10 business days for delivery, unless close to a major holiday. No weekend or holiday delivery is available. Oversized, dropship, and overweight packages may incur additional charges and service restrictions. You may also choose to upgrade Expedited delivery for an additional charge. If a PO BOX is given as a shipping address we will ship US Mail if possible or we will contact you.

We currently ship within the 50 United States and Canada. Free shipping does not apply to Canada, Hawaii or Alaska. You can see the rates upon checkout. Thank You.
